About Me
Hi, I’m Oloff
I’m a User Experience (UX) Researcher in the digital strategy and learning design team at Onlea. I lead agile generative and evaluative research that drives growth in over 30 high impact experiences across public and private sectors, including AI tech, higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit.
With a background rooted in human-centered design and computer science, I specialize in human-AI interaction and advocate for research informing inclusive, accessible design. I excel at balancing evolving user needs with technical constraints and business goals to create smooth experiences that build ongoing engagement. Recently, I have driven the research process for AI-based tools from concept to beta. I have also actively mentored junior team members and advanced Onlea’s internal ResearchOps, ensuring a high level of quality and shared standards across our practice.
I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC) where I was supervised by Dongwook Yoon. As an assistant researcher at UBC, I was part of SOCIUS Lab and Designing for People (DFP). Within this space, I focused on shaping the future of AI-supported work and education. I conducted mixed-methods research to advance AI-assisted creativity support, particularly by revealing how AI agents should align with users’ personal values and practices.
