About Me
Hi, I’m Oloff
I am passionate about understanding users and evaluating human-centered solutions. I have diverse experience in UX research and in the business space. In any project I take on, I always aim to put the needs of the user first, while continuously learning.
I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC). As a graduate researcher, I was supervised by Dongwook Yoon. At UBC, I was part of the Multimodal User Experience lab within Imager, as well as the Designing for People (DFP) research cluster. I have focused on human-computer interaction (HCI) and computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW). Within these areas, I have conducted several user studies which involved gathering and analyzing data using qualitative and quantitative methods to synthesize user insights and evaluate solutions. This work has focused on AI-assisted creativity support, particularly investigating how AI writing tools should align with writers’ personal values and writing practices.
